The workshop aims at two major areas of the robotics research, namely Field and Assistive robotics. Talks are invited from researchers in the following areas but are not limited to

Assistive Robotics

  • Action and Activity Recognition
  • 2D/3D Object Modeling
  • Facial Expressions Recognition
  • Human Robot Interaction
  • Scene text analysis (text reading for blinds)
  • Text in video recognition

Workshop Schedule



Due to logistic constraints, only a limited number of participants will be entertained on first-come-first-serve basis.

Participation fee of 95 Euro will be charged and will compensate all the meals and one night stay at Dagstuhl.
