
Vita
Marcel Suiker studied computer science with a specialization in “Embedded Systems and Robotics” and “Visualization and Scientific Computing” at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau from 2018 till 2025. During his studies, he gained first experience in the planning and navigation of autonomous mobile robots. In May 2025 he completed his master's thesis “Operation Planning for an Autonomous Drilling Excavator”.
Since June 2025 he has been working as a research assistant in the Robot Systems Group. His research focuses on planning and distribution of tasks in cooperative robotic systems, as well as perception in distributed systems.
