Vita
Hannan is from Pakistan and currently working as a doctoral student in the Department of Computer Science at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern since February 2018. His area of research is Navigation and Mapping in Autonomous Unmanned Vehicles. He is interested in Reinforcement Learning based navigation techniques. During his time in the group, he has been part of industrial projects related to the mapping of rough terrain and underwater bed.
Previously, Hannan has worked for four years as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He has received his Master’s degree in electrical engineering in 2016 from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). His Master's thesis topic was ‘Conflict Avoidance among multiple unmanned aircrafts using reinforcement learning’. Before that, he has achieved his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2013 from NFC IEFR, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
