Dawood Khan completed his bachelor's at the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Nilore, Pakistan. He did an internship at the Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Sciences and Technology (PINSTECH), Nilore, Pakistan, in data analysis for high-energy physics. He completed his master's degree in Computer Science from TU Kaiserslautern, specializing in Robotics and Intelligent Systems, with a thesis titled "Active Exploration". For around 3 years, he was a Werkstudent at BASF SE, Ludwigshafen, as a Software Engineer and Data Scientist. Since 2025, he has been a doctoral candidate at the AG Robotersysteme at RPTU Kaiserslautern. His research deals with learning-based control for robots.
