Massimo Tosa was born in Genova, Italy, on December the 15th, 1987. He got the Bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2011 and the Master Degree in Robotics Engineering in 2014 both from the University of Genova. His Master's Thesis is "Vision framework for rover guidance in planetary exploration". Since April 2014 he joined the Robotics Research Lab at the University of Kaiserslautern, as a PhD student. His research is focused on "Navigation strategy for off-road mobile vehicles in rough unstructured environments" within the ICARUS project.
