Christian Kötting studied electrical and computer engineering with a focus on embedded systems at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern and received his Master of Science degree in 2015.
The topic of his bachelor thesis was the control unit of advanced D-RAM memory. His master's thesis dealt with the system-theoretical analysis of the series-elastic actuators for the robot leg CARL.
After completing his studies, Mr. Kötting worked in the measurement technology company AndroTec GmbH in Waldfischbach-Burgalben until 2020. The main topic of the work there was the development of a new, high-resolution laser-based localization system.
Kötting is a research associate at RRLab since 2020. His research focus is on FPGA and hardware accelerators for robotics applications.
